What is FMB
The Federation of Master Builders (FMB) is the largest trade association for the building industry in the UK. It was first established in 1941 to protect the interests of small to medium sized building firms at the local and national level. The FMB is an independent, non profit association, established to focus concentrated support for firms in the building industry, with national offices in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. And with additional regional support offices across the UK. The FMB’s primary service is to offer sources of professional knowledge, advice and support for building firms across different regions within the UK. Advice and support is also offered to the general public on choosing the right builder, which can be a difficult decision to make.

What is Master Builder of the Year awards
Each year the FMB presents a master builder of the year award in many categories, the categories for the 2015 awards are: New Home of the Year, Kitchen of the Year, Bathroom of the Year, Small Renovation Project of the Year, Large Renovation Project of the Year, Commercial Project of the Year, Energy Efficiency Project of the Year, Heavenly Builder and Apprentice of the Year. Nominations must come from a satisfied client, and builders are judged on their technical ability together with their customer service skills and attention to detail, along with the project’s end result.
Biocraft have recently been awarded the regional ‘Heavenly Builder’ FMB award for the southern counties and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us in order to win the award. It is a great honour to win such an award and to be recognised for the hard work we do. At Biocraft we will always strive to improve further and continue working hard.
