Established in 2002, Biocraft Ltd has since gone on to become a leading specialist contractor in the Thames Valley. Based in Reading, we operate throughout Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and Surrey.
We carry out all types of damp proofing, waterproofing and specialist services including basement conversions, basement extensions, specialist damp surveys, damp proofing, timber treatment (woodworm & dry rot treatment), water leak detection, flood repair and condensation control.

Biocraft is also an approved contractor for Triton Systems Ltd and Isola Platon Cavity Membrane Basement Waterproofing Systems. Triton Systems are the leading manufacturers of remedial products and cavity membrane basement waterproofing products for the building preservation industry.
As members of the Property Care Association (PCA), Biocraft is authorised to offer GPI insured guarantees which provides a back-up to the Biocraft company guarantee. This provides you and future owners of the property with the benefit of “guarantee protection.” As a member of the PCA and FMB, we’re members of TRUSTMARK which ensures government-endorsed standards.
Here at Biocraft, we’re committed to quality, safety and the environment. We work with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and the Thames Valley Construction Training Association (TVCTA) in relation to the training and development of our staff.
Our workers are time served and qualified in their specific trade. Our staff have Construction Skill Certification Scheme (CSCS) cards and are fully trained on all aspects of health and safety including asbestos, lone working, fire prevention and all relevant safe practices. Our staff are full-time employees and vehicles are fully sign written. We carry £10 million and £5 million employers and third-party public liability insurance, in addition to full building contracts insurance and professional indemnity insurance.

Biocraft came to my house to carry out a survey and then repair a damp wall in which the plaster was blown. The survey was very thorough and we got very good practical advice on how to deal with minor issues. When the team came to repair the wall , they were super professional, punctual and very respectful of our home. Their time keeping was excellent and they also very kindly explained every step of the work and were patient enough to answer my many questions. They were also very mindful that I was working from home and would tell me whenever it was going to be noisy. Finally the cleaning was done to high standard before they left. All of this made the process stress free. I cannot praise the Biocraft team enough and would definitely recommend them!

Jamie and Sam from Biocraft spent 3 days at ours doing some damp proofing to the basement . They were super polite , respectful , ensured that everything was protected and then cleared up - the place looked cleaner after they left than before ! After my landlord noticed damp Biocraft conducted a thorough inspection and reported back work was needed. My landlord instructed Biocraft to install a ventilation system in the attic. The work was done by Jordan and team, they were great getting the work done quickly and tidily. Biocraft conducted an inspection after we noticed damp in two places. Their report was very thorough, but we didn't act on it for several months. Nonetheless, when we eventually contacted them about installing a couple of extractor fans, they were great. The work was done by Jordan and Simon, who got it done quickly and tidily. Woodland Tennis Club (Tilehurst, Reading) have used Biocraft several times for a variety of things over a few years. Most recently was installation of a new toilet, wall pannelling, flooring, wash basin, water heater, taps and related pipework. After being given a date for the work, it started when expected. The guys doing the work were courteous, helpful and polite. When there was a problem it was dealt with promptly with good communication throughout. Would definitely recommend.

Highly recommend BioCraft in terms of both service provided & quality of their work. They worked with us to complete damp proofing works on a new bathroom. It was a job that had been abandoned by another company and they were incredibly helpful taking on a difficult job. We received a positive can-do attitude on first assessment and the team carrying out the work were very professional and the standard of the work was very high. They even cleaned up after another tradesman we'd had onsite at the same time highlighting their courtesy and consideration for the customer.

Biocraft did a great job in converting a damp storage room into an office space. This involved installation of a cavity drain membrane system, fitting a replacement door and window, electrical works and plastering. The work was completed to a very high standard. The team were very friendly and professional, and punctual too, working over a weekend to get the work completed quickly for me. I would have no hesitation in recommending Biocraft.

I've used Biocraft on multiple occasions, from small jobs such as changing a Saniflo macerator to having a cavity membrane system installed in my basement flat in Reading.Most recently, they were my first call after a big water leak into a vacant property in the middle of lockdown. Calmly and swiftly, despite the most challenging of circumstances in April with skeleton staff, Biocraft provided the reports, photos and quotes for the insurance company, stripped out all the affected materials and fully reinstated my property without my having to be on site at all.That is why they were my first call, because I know I can trust them to do the job properly, that I won't have any problems with the insurance paperwork, that I don't need to supervise, that they do what they say they will, when they said.

Following a positive referral from a colleague, we gave Biocraft a call. Following a reasonable quote we were advised 3 weeks for the work to be completed. Much to our delight, this was all finished in just over a week, with consistant and proactive helpful tips and clear communications on when it would all be complete. The end product, a warm and damp proofed home.I would definitely recommend Biocraft for anyone in the same boat as us, a little unsure of what to do about their damp proofing issues.
