BIOCRAFT JOIN THE BWPDA

Biocraft Ltd was today accepted for full membership of the Property Care Association, division of the British Wood Preserving and Damp proofing Association.

Members of the Association include specialists in remedial timber treatment and damp proofing, manufacturers and distributors of damp control and timber treatment products, independent consultants, freelance surveyors and private members. The Association can provide a full range of technical, marketing and administration services to members, specifiers and clients.

The PCA was formed to:

• Provide a industry voice to liaise with relevant government departments

• Increase recognition of the quality of damp control and timber treatment products and the range and quality of services available from its members

• Create a framework of training and qualifications to assist members in reaching the necessary level of knowledge and skill to deliver effective services in damp control and timber treatment

• Provide opportunities for Continuing Professional Development to enable members to maintain and develop their knowledge and skills in damp control and timber treatment

The Association also advises the Institute of Wood Preserving and Damp-proofing on the syllabus for the Certificated Surveyor in Remedial Treatment qualification.
